This constant state of worry/never-ending vigilance/persistent dread has taken its toll/is wearing me down/is chipping away at my soul.

  • Sleep eludes me/Rest feels impossible/I toss and turn all night
  • Relationships suffer/Connecting with others is hard/I fear putting my guard down

Living like this/with this burden/under this weight is exhausting/is unbearable/is a constant uphill battle. I long for peace/calm/a sense of security, but the fear/anxiety/dread lingers/persists/remains ever-present.
